Launch

Command Line

Ensemblist accept the following arguments :

  • --help : print some (not much) ;
  • --silent : run without sounds ;
  • --no-net : don't try to connect to server for new levels ;
  • --ktx : give a try to the KTX extention ;
  • --wgl : give a try to the WGL extention ;
  • --debug : some nice readings

Notes for Unix/MacOS :
For now, MikMod starts only OSS, wich is not very clever.
The cammand line option --wgl have no effect since its a Windows extention. The --ktx extention do the same thing than --wgl, but does not work at all (whether it's my fault or Nvidia's Im not sure yet).

Notes for Windows :
Command line arguments --ktx and --wgl are exclusives. Try both and use the one that works best, if any.

Download of new levels

If you don't use the option --no-net, the program will halt for a second or two at lauch for downloading new levels. It will happyly print any levels it can get from the server, before to write them on your disk.

In a nearby future, the levels that you have created using the ingame level editor will be send as well so that other players can play them.
